The Kansas Cooling Contractors Association, which consists of state-wide HVAC contractors, distributors and vocational academies, desires each year to give back to the community. Each year, KCCA provides 4-6 new HVAC systems installed to a few deserving military veterans. Each KCCA member nominates individuals that are military veterans that are in need of new HVAC equipment. These individuals are experiencing financial hardships beyond their control and have a deserving need.
This last fall, All Seasons Cooling & Heating of Rose Hill nominated Mr. Richard Tarbox of Rose Hill. Richard is a retired military veteran with 41 years of service. He has always been very generous with his time in the Rose Hill community, especially with the Boy Scouts and senior center for many years. The existing heating and cooling system in his home is 30+ years old and is beyond repair. This has left him with extremely high electric bills and ultimately without air conditioning the last couple months of this last summer season. Mr. Tarbox was chosen as one of the recipients of a new locally manufactured York heat pump system. We are extremely happy to offer this heat pump system with no cost accrued by Richard for any part of the system install. This is made possible by the extreme generosity of the following contributions. The equipment was donated primarily by CFM Distributors of Wichita, with the assistance from KCCA board & members, and Comfort Products Distributing of Wichita. All Seasons Cooling & Heating of Rose Hill, alongside Winter Sheetmetal of Viola, provided the necessary installation materials and labor to install the new heat pump system. Also, the City of Rose Hill has been gracious to donate the fees for the permit and inspection of the new heat pump system.
On a final note, it is easy to be complacent and used to having the luxury of heating and air conditioning, to be without makes it even more appreciated. On behalf of all the people involved with making this happen for Richard, thanks again. It will be a blessing to the Tarbox family and greatly appreciated for many seasons to come.
